I had a lovely stay at Mosquito Blue, a stylish boutique hotel right in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The location is perfect, allowing me to explore nearby attractions while enjoying a relaxing atmosphere. The comfortable beds and the beautiful pool area added to my experience, though I did hear some noise from the nearby nightclub. Overall, it was a good getaway.

The deluxe room was charming and visually pleasing, although it had a minor design flaw with the TV being partially blocked by the foot board when lying down. The room wasn't huge, but the nice bathroom and patio made up for it.

The staff were personable and attentive, running water bottles to guests throughout the hotel with a smile. There was a slight confusion regarding some information, which was a bit unprofessional, but overall, their friendliness made a difference.

The hotel is situated right next to Coco Bongo and across from Media Luna, making it super convenient for entertainment and dining. While it’s central to everything, the room insulation kept external noise to a minimum.

I had a lovely stay at Mosquito Blue during my honeymoon. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Playa del Carmen, which made exploring easy. However, I did have some service hiccups that detracted from the overall experience. The rooms are charming but showing signs of wear, and the towel policy felt a bit excessive at times.

I had a mixed experience at Mosquito Blue. The location was perfect, just a half block from Fifth Avenue, and my junior suite was nice, but it lacked promised amenities. Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing construction, which made for very noisy nights, and the service was lacking.
